New grocery chain expands in Pearland

The Aldi discount grocery chain is opening a second store in the city of Pearland in early 2017. Situated on Broadway St. where the Pearland Bowling Center was once located, the store promises to provide shoppers with an alternative to other large supermarket stores. Aldi, a German company, has been expanding the brand in the states since 2014 and this second Pearland store joins several other locations in the Houston-area, including in Pasadena, Webster and Kemah.
