The Reflection Bay Event Center will host a New Year’s Eve B-Y-O-Bash in celebration of the new year. The event, aimed to raise funds for a new school project in Haiti sponsored by One World Foundation, will feature music by the Modulation Band. The doors open at 8 p.m. and entrance is $25 at the door. Guests must be 21 years old and are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks. You can learn more about the bash here!
The annual Pearland International Festival will be hosted September 16-17 at the Pearland Town Center. The event, sponsored by the Pearland Foundation for Performing and Visual Arts, has recently expanded to a two-day event to enhance the festival in its fourth year. The event aims to illustrate the multicultural community of Pearland. Adult tickets are $15 for a one-day pass and $25 for both days while children under 12 will be admitted for $5.
Southern Trails residents enjoyed an early visit from Santa Claus on Saturday, December 12th, 2015 in the community of Southern Trails.
From 1 to 4 pm, over 450 visitors enjoyed free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, gourmet hot drinks provided by Java Pura, Fairytale brownies and candy canes in the Recreation Center in Southern Trails.
The Pearland Neighborhood Center will host a crawfish boil from 2 to 6 pm on April 19 at Billy's Hall, 4070 Wells Drive in Pearland. The event will have live music, plenty of crawfish, raffles and auctions. Pre-event tickets are $30, $35 at the door and children age 10 and below get in for free.

Local area Realtors flocked to Southern Trails for the annual Lobster Boil held at the Pearland community’s Recreation Center. Celebrating the opening of a new model home by Perry Homes and new sections in the community, Realtors enjoyed lunch and toured model homes by Taylor Morrison, Newmark, Ashton Woods, Coventry and Perry Homes priced from the $140s to the $360s.
